The Center for Youth, Family, and Community Partnerships was established in 1996 to help address health and social issues affecting children, youth and families in the community.  The Center is funded primarily through a diverse portfolio of federal, state, local and foundation grants and contracts.  We are located within the Office of Research and Economic Development at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  Our role within the University is to advance research and outreach for the University, to build social capital, and to enhance community health and well-being.

We operate by collaborating with university partners, community-based agencies, state and local organizations and individuals to put evidence based solutions into practice and to evaluate practice-based evidence.
