Family Navigator and Family Partner Coordinator

I am a wife and mother of 3 children all with different mental health challenges. I am a proud graduate of the number one HBCU, NC A& T State University, and a Certified Family Peer Specialist. I currently serve in the role of Family Navigator and Family Partner Coordinator. In this role, I assist families with finding resources and services they need as well as guiding them in learning how to advocate for their families. I also partner with local and state partners to train and assure System of Care values and principles across the state. I am the former Family Co-Chair of the North Carolina Collaborative for Children, Youth, and Families. I currently serve on the NCInK Family Council and I am the Co-Chair to the NCInK Partnership Council where share my expertise and lived experiences as a caregiver of a child with mental health and learning disabilities. I am a strong advocate of family voice and choice.
