Program Manager, NC Enhanced Mobile Crisis Pilot Program

I am the Program Manager for the NC Enhanced Mobile Crisis pilot which is a collaboration between UNCG/CYFCP, the Department of Health and Human Services, and 5 crisis response sites across the state. I consider it a great privilege to be part of this important work to improve the crisis response and follow-up care for families in a mental/behavioral crisis. I have an undergraduate degree from Illinois State University in Recreation and Parks Management and a master’s degree from Southern Illinois University in Outdoor Resource Management. After several years as a camp director and then nonprofit youth leadership professional/executive, I recognized the importance of acknowledging mental health in developing young leaders. While serving in a parental role for my niece and nephew, I gained a better understanding of mental health services and systems. I have lived in the Greensboro area for over 25 years. My husband and I enjoy travel, hiking, fly fishing, spending time with family and friends, and serving our church as housing ministry leaders.
