Megan Tarver

Interim Assistant Director

I am serving as the Interim CYFCP Assistant Director. I have been involved in the mental health field in North Carolina for 17 years. I have a Bachelor’s in psychology from The University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC) and a Master’s in Community Counseling from UNC – Greensboro. I love working at the intersections of systems because so many of our youth and families are involved with multiple systems. I have seen the power of youth and family voice and choice in making needed changes for positive outcomes for youth and families. I have experience across various parts of the mental health system including both direct care and systems work. I’m especially passionate about helping youth and families access quality mental health care.
