CYFCP Assistant Director
A native of NC, I received my MA in Political Science from Appalachian State University. Following graduation, I worked for state and local government agencies as well as three nonprofit organizations. I spent the bulk of my career leading trauma-informed teams empowering survivors of interpersonal violence to plan for safety, access housing, and navigate systems all within a multi-agency framework. I have also journeyed for ten years with my oldest child through the confusing maze of mental health services. I am excited to combine my human services expertise and lived experience to support CYFCP’s efforts to advance the health and well-being of individuals and families across the lifespan.
