I am a Program Associate for the NC High Fidelity Wraparound Training Program. I obtained a B.S. in sociology from Austin Peay State University, a B.S. in computer information systems from the University of Maine at Augusta, and an MBA in management from Fitchburg State University. I got my start in 2002 as an investigator in Florida’s child welfare system. I have held various titles including state trainer, child and family team facilitator, and statewide program manager throughout Florida, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and North Carolina. During my years in the child welfare system, I became very passionate about protecting victims of domestic violence, fatherhood initiative, and family finding to keep children out of foster care. I also spent time as a middle and high-school math teacher, family self-sufficiency coordinator, and financial coach. I bring 20 years of experience in child welfare, housing, and education to the program. I look forward to utilizing my background and experience to help the high-fidelity wraparound program grow and serve as many counties in NC as possible. In addition to my professional background, I have been a foster/adoptive parent to an amazing daughter for 16 years.
